It has now been more than 5 years that I’m working at Mars and during this time, I have had the opportunity to change roles four times. I’ve joined Mars just after finishing my studies. When I started, I supported one country, and my responsibilities quickly expanded to include 11 countries. I have also participated in global projects, including the unique experience of moving to a new HR system. Additionally, I’ve transitioned across various HR functions. Throughout this journey, I have acquired numerous new skills, embraced new challenges, and consistently pushed beyond my existing knowledge. I am very grateful for the opportunities Mars has provided for my professional development and growth. Another aspect I truly value at Mars is that my voice and opinions are genuinely heard. I’m entrusted with ownership of ideas and projects, which makes me feel respected and valued.

I have started working at Mars in 2018. Over the past 6 years at Mars, I’ve grown through diverse roles, starting as an HR Analyst, processing HR transactions for UK & Ireland. Then I moved into a team coordinator role, focusing on people management. In my next role, I was working on the HR systems transition for 11 countries, which further developed my project and leadership capabilities. Currently, as an HRIS Analyst, I’m expanding my technical expertise by configuring systems and driving their continuous improvement as well as shaping a seamless HR experience.
Mars helped me by shaping my development and giving many opportunities to grow.

It's hard to believe it's already been 5 years at Mars MGS! I joined as a 21-year-old student and since then it has become a special place for me. Mars has given me something valuable - the freedom to be myself and the space to think creatively. I joined Mars nearly 5 years ago, and I am now on my third role within the company. The greatest value for me here in Mars is the people – open, collaborative, and always supportive. A key factor is also having a manager who sees and appreciates your potential. Mars offers numerous development opportunities, which can be felt in everyday work, providing chances for growth in various areas. In my first role, I was a contractor in a team of masterdata experts HR (SAP), working closely on the implementation of the new HR system, Workday. When the opportunity arose to join the audit team as an Associate, I knew it was the right step. I had a vision to develop the area of data quality, and the company trusted me to create a global data quality framework. The project was a great success, meeting organizational needs, and was a pivotal moment in developing my leadership skills. Collaborating with directors from rewards and payroll helped me grow in stakeholder management and storytelling, building my confidence and maturity in project management. The recognition of my contributions led to a promotion to manager role, where I now lead new areas and projects, continually motivated to keep growing.

Engagement Team
The Engagement Team is a group of Mars Global Services Associates and Contractors who dedicate part of their working time to help all Associates to be engaged in their work. We do this in variety of ways, in three areas: Great Place to Work - focusing on making the office as great a place as possible, Social Responsibility - enabling our Associates to make a positive impact on the world, and Health & Wellbeing - focusing on improving these two aspects of our Associates lives at Mars.
Great Place to Work
Who makes a great workplace? All of us! But a little support is always welcome. That's our Great Place to Work team! This group is a mix of Associates and Contractors who run the operations in the MGS Warsaw office helping us all feel our best. As a team, they focus on bringing more fun to the team, helping everyone to get to know other cultures better (after all, we work in an international environment), as well as finding purpose in our daily work by getting to know our clients and career paths better through organised business sessions. The team regularly organises breakfasts for our Associates, often themed and with special guests, and also ensures that there are activities planned for us during various occasions and holidays, such as Christmas and Easter. Using Mars Volunteer Program (MVP), we enable our Associates to make a positive impact by organising a variety of activities. From visiting shelters to help pets, to helping clean up a river to help the planet, to partnering with community centres to help senior. Do you want to make an positive impact? Health & Wellbeing
The Health & Wellbeing team focuses on both the mental and physical aspects of wellbeing to create supportive and empowering enviroment at Mars. We organise sport activities in the office, such as: Yoga, Streaching, Mobility Training, Krav-Maga or Cycling making your own juice and much more. Such activities bring a lot of joy and entertainment, but also provide much needed breaks from work to help reduce stress and promote work-life balance. Join us and help us drive a healthy workplace!
