Internship Experience​​​​​​​


One of the best ways to get a feel for our business – and decide whether you might want to build a long-term career with us – is to join us for an internship. An internship placement with us doesn’t just mean shadowing or doing a few admin tasks. We’ll trust you to lead your own projects and give you responsibility for their delivery, giving you meaningful real-world experience from day one.

Programme Overview
Our Mars Internship Experience gives invaluable work experience and opportunities for personal growth – your chance to test your skills and explore a range of potential future career paths. Placements will be for 3 months and can be combined with your studies. You’ll have a line manager and buddy plus you’ll be able to connect with our community of interns.

What you'll do The possibilities are limitless on the Mars Internship Experience. Whether you join the marketing team for one of our billion-dollar brands or help develop a new range of Snickers, you'll be working on meaningful business projects with big responsibility.

If all goes well during your time with us, our Internship Experience can also lead to our Graduates Traineeships across various functions within our business.
Who are we looking for
  • You'll be currently studying and looking to gain some work experience to help jump-start your career once you finish.
  • You are currently studying general management, engineering or finance​​​​​​​
  • You'll be driven and collaborative with the ability to influence and get things done at pace. Having a natural curiosity and desire to learn will help you get the most out of your time with us. If you’ve got the drive to make a real impact, this is the experience for you.

Hi, I'm Hanin, and I interned with Mars in Saudi Arabia in Supply in the summer of 2021. I was based at the King Abdullah Economic City Factory, home to the chocolate factory which produces the iconic Galaxy bar. I was a part of the Site Technical team.

At Mars, you are always encouraged to challenge yourself, and enjoy everyone's support! Three reasons why I would recommend the Mars Internship Experience are, Mars is a company that is led by its principles and value, and you will be treated as if you are a real associate (employee) and your ideas are valued, you will always find buddy and best friend that will support you during your internship! you will be able to lead your own project and drive changes within the organization.
