Mars Finance Leadership Program

Program Overview

The Mars Finance Leadership Experience (MFLE) comprises of three 12-month rotations across the function. It’s an opportunity for you to accelerate your leadership skills through a highly structured program. Our program is designed to help you develop into well-rounded finance leaders with unparalleled business experience. You’ll get to work on world-famous brands as you rotate through different business units and roles that stretch your capability and develop your leadership skills. Complete the program successfully and you’ll be placed in a finance role where you can continue to grow your career with us.

You’ll be someone who has completed our Mars Finance or Accounting Internship Experience and is in the process of completing their Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study.

You’ll be driven to achieve results and be capable of demonstrating natural leadership skills in challenging situations. And if you’ve got communication skills, learning agility and strategic analytical skills then this could be the perfect experience for you.

As this is a rotational program, your responsibilities will vary. You could find yourself participating in national or global projects, streamlining financial or accounting processes, or working on finance operations.

No matter what you do on this program, you’ll get a unique opportunity to have a strategic impact on the business and gain in-depth knowledge of how we work from a finance perspective. You’ll need to learn quickly as you’ll be thrust into new situations and be expected to play an active role on your team.

When you join, you’ll be assigned with a senior lead mentor and be expected to own your own development with the help of your mentor, program manager and rotational manager.

The Mars Finance Leadership Experience rotations could be based in any of our US locations.

This includes Chicago, New Jersey, Nashville, or St. Louis so you’ll need to be mobile and willing to relocate throughout the program.
