What is special about the Mars Leadership Experience Program?
The Mars Leadership Experience is not your average graduate program! Our award winning, 2-year program is packed with great experiences, opportunities and learning. 
To us, every graduate is a potential leader. That’s why we offer you the unique opportunity to step into a real role, right from the start. You’ll be given real responsibility and empowered to make an impact right from the get-go. 
Our graduates complete 2 x 12-month rotations across our business in Australia and New Zealand, allowing you to truly experience the breadth of our business. We have multiple factories and offices across Australia and New Zealand, and we are looking for open minded graduates who are willing to take on any experience across locations and functional groups. 
With mentorship from senior leaders, hands-on experience, and a collaborative environment, you’ll rapidly develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a future leader and fast track your career.

Sales & Marketing (Australia)

Our Sales & Marketing teams drive our business forward by building strong retailer relationships and boosting consumer demand and loyalty.
The Marketing team creates demand through brand awareness, consumer engagement, and loyalty, crafting compelling narratives from customer insights and iconic campaigns.
Our Sales teams focus on building strong relationships with our retailers and distributors. They work closely with our retail partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes, ensuring our products are well-represented and readily available to consumers.
Preferred educational background or interest:
Open to any degree discipline, Marketing degrees would be highly regarded

Supply Chain (Australia)

Our Supply team is the driving force behind our operations, ensuring products are delivered efficiently to meet consumer demand.
The Supply team bridges the gap between our manufacturing sites and our customers, working hard to maintain the availability of our products.
By overseeing our international and national supply chain, they ensure regulatory compliance, timely deliveries, and optimal transport methods, reducing costs and improving the experience for customers and retailers
Preferred educational background or interest:

Business, Commerce, Management, Supply Chain / Logistics, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics, International Business

Engineering (Australia)

Our Engineering team plays a critical role in our success, ensuring efficient and sustainable production of our iconic products.
By focusing on sustainability and continuous improvement, the Engineering team plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality products while minimizing our environmental impact.
From troubleshooting issues, to running projects  to streamline operations, no two days are the same in this dynamic team.
Preferred educational background or interest:
Mechanical or Process Engineering preferred, but open to all Engineering disciplines

Procurement (Australia) 

Our Procurement team is the backbone of our efficient and cost effective operations, managing supplier relationships to keep everything running smoothly. 
They source the best goods and serviced at the right price, handle supplier negotiations, and ensure all raw materials and packaging are available.
From evaluating suppliers to managing contracts, they ensure we get what we need, when we need it, in the most sustainable way possible.

Commerce, Economics, Business Finance, International Business, Engineering, Procurement & Purchasing

Multi-Function (New Zealand) 

Our New Zealand business is a diverse mix of passionate Associate who focus on the marketing, sale and distribution of our products within NZ. 
With Teams accross Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing and HR, graduates in New Zealand will complete one rotation in Sales and then a second rotation in a diffferent function.  This builds exceptional breadth in our graduates which positions them to become leaders in the FMCG industry.

We welcome your application if you are an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident and have completed a bachelor’s degree before commencing the program.

Some tips for your application…
Take some time to get to know us. There’s heaps of great information on our website, LinkedIn and socials. Doing your research will help you to clearly articulate why you would like to join the team at Mars.

Be yourself. We want to see the real you, and the unique qualities you have that set you apart from others. Don’t try and “fit the mold” – let your personality shine!

Think about your interests, passions, motivations and experience. How do these make you a great fit for a career at Mars?

Be clear, concise and specific. Take the time to ensure that your application is well structured and organised. Read the question being asked and ensure that your response answers that question. Use language that is easy to understand and avoid jargon.
