Where can an Apprenticeship at Mars take you?
"At 16 I wasn’t sure of what I wanted to do with my future, just knowing that I wanted to be hands-on in an engineering discipline. When the opportunity came to apply for the Mars Engineering Apprenticeship scheme, I knew I had to go for it! Now 12 years on and having progressed through several different qualifications and roles, I knew that I had made the right decision to join Mars! Throughout my whole apprenticeship (and later career), Mars invested time and resources into developing me both functionally and personally – be that through a structured apprenticeship or 1:1 development session with my Line Manager. In my career to date, I have worked with highly skilled engineers to solve complex problems, managed teams of fellow associates, and worked on some pretty cool regional projects that benefit thousands of associates. All of this wouldn’t have been possible without the solid foundation that was my apprenticeship."
